The server update pack contains numerous improvements and fixes for the applications, services and technologies running on a Mac OS X 10.4 Tiger Server edition including: "avoiding AFP connection errors when authenticating Active Directory users who are members of lots of groups, authenticating Windows clients when bound to Active Directory, better TCP performance with Windows clients and servers and compatibility with third party applications and device," as AppleInsider sustained.Īll the updates are available through the Software Update menu included in the Apple computers but also as a stand-alone download hosted on the Apple servers.
